Very disappointed with this office. I am a Type 1 diabetic. My insurance company would not cover my previous endocrinologist. I called COPC over a month ago and was told that they were accepting new patients. I went through the process of having a referral faxed over from my previous provider. No response for a month. After continued calls and no response I finally got a call from them declining my referral. I am left without a doctor or insulin medication that is critical to my health. I had a referral made through my primary care doctor for an endocrinologist. I have EXTREMELY high thyroid antibody levels (sign of Hashimoto’s, but not always), all the symptoms of Hashimoto’s (weight gain, depression, fatigue, joint pain, etc.), AND a strong family history of Hashimoto’s disease (mom, maternal aunt, maternal grandmother, and other cousins and aunts on the maternal side). Dr. Kroustos is the most caring Endocrinologist. He is determined to figure out the issues and solve them with the right treatment. His NP, Lisa Taylor, Maddie, and MA, Ashley, are top-rate. Together, they coordinate care to help make the lives of their patients better. Highly recommend Dr. Kroustos. There isn’t a better Endocrinologist in central Ohio. Thank you, all!
Horrible experience. My doctor referred me a month ago. I kept calling to set up a new appointment. Finally, talked to the new patient coordinator and she lied and said she called me last week to tell me I couldn’t get an appointment because my levels are normal. Not only is this inaccurate, but I’ve had an autoimmune disease for 27 years that my doctor said should be managed by an endocrinologist. Rude, unprofessional and wasted a month of my time
