Called to get an igniter replaced on my range. Had to go into the store to pay service charge. Next day (Thursday) the new part failed. Called on Friday to get repaired again and was told everyone was out and earliest time was the following Monday. I couldn't wait that long so I had another company come and replace it. At that time the new tech stated that the initial installation was shoddy in that there were unnecessary splices in the control wire, the splices were poorly made and screws were missing on the part. Terrible customer service! Called about replacing a couple of element burners on our Heartland stove. Was told that they did not work on Heartland appliances despite the fact that we have the work receipts from Columbus Appliances for the previous owner of the house. In fact, they replaced the same element burners that we are currently having problems with.
Do not try booking a service appointment here, either online or over the phone. They have some new system that does not work. I've tried to book an appointment three times (twice online and once over the phone) and all three times they were unaware of the appointment and they had to be canceled. The only positive was that they gave advise on how to potentially diagnose an issue myself. They seem like decent enough people, but the inability to handle something as simple as appointment scheduling is pretty unprofessional. TLDR... read more
They are the most awful place I have ever been they made me leave because I didn't look like I could afford them said that I can't afford anything in their store I would never recommend them to anybody
My sister bought a stove and refrigerator from them the refrigerator did not work they came out to deliver new refrigerator and she asked the man who was the owner shldnt they take the old one out first he told her to SHUT UP AND GET OUT OF THE WAY! She told him he won't be coming in her house ! WHAT BUSINESS OWNER TALKS TO CUSTOMERS THAT WAY? UNPROFFESIONAL TRASHY ONES. she will not be doing business with them any longer and will be reporting to the BBB
