We stopped by for a night and found a path down to the Blue River. Absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. Camping spots had fire rings. There was a vault toilet that was very clean but still stinky. No Verizon service. Dog-friendly.
This was a nice place to stop on our drive back from Heeney. There are places to explore along the water. You can easily dip your toes in safely. There are places were the water moves deeper and faster.
Camped here and we absolutely loved it. All the campers around us were so nice to my daughters and I. Didn't cost us anything so we saved some money for a nice dinner.
