Loved the residents! However when working there pay checks bounced, and when administrators were asked about it they would get mad at staff. They would run out of medical gloves and staff were forced to use food preparation gloves to clean residents and the facilities. Family runs that place. If you are related to another worker then you can get away with anything, including playing on your phone all day. In the very short time I worked there I saw a shockingly high turn over rate.
When I started at this facility I was excited. In about a month or so I started really seeing how the managers along with staff really handle conflict. They were cussing and not wanted to help the residence. There were rumors from their staff that checks were bouncing and staff were stealing meds from the carts. I tried not pay attention to this gossip and stay out of the way, but its like they live and thrive off of it. There was nothing done and drug tests are not done at this facility.
