My experience with Dr. Brooks on the 11th floor was extremely disappointing. I genuinely question why he is permitted to work with children, as he lacks any sense of warmth or charisma. Throughout the entire visit, he appeared irritated and disengaged. Additionally, I was not asked if I was comfortable with two women sitting in the room to observe the consultation. The rudest receptionist I’ve met in a hospital. I’ve been here a couple of times, and it’s unbelievable how consistently rude the receptionist is.
The admin and front desk people are great but the place feels cold like a Black Mirror episode. Ive been handled like a piece of meat for blood draws (most pain ever on a blood draw in my life) and treated with blank blinking stares when my pcp met with me for the first time. Awful, so dehumanizing. I had a subsequent doctor visit that was OK, and I will keep trying. ADDITIONALLY they require sign up for a "mychart" website that DOES NOT WORK. Constant screw ups. Don’t know how to apologize. Rude staff. Waste of time. Save your efforts and go somewhere else. Switching pediatricians to avoid this place.
I recently visited the Columbus Circle location of ColumbiaDoctors to establish care with Dr. Jessica Fiorelli, and I had a great experience!! :-) The office is clean + well-kept, and the staff are really efficient and kind. Dr. Fiorelli took the time to address any concerns I had, so we could accomplish my goals during the clinic visit. I will definitely be returning!!
