I called them at 10 min to 1pm and got the voicemail saying they were out to lunch from 12 to 1. Okay. So I called back at 1:15, and it rang, and rang and finally got a voicemail to leave a message. They do things the right way here. Only transmission place in town that won’t charge for diagnosis. Lee is a very honest man who will help guide you to what’s best for you. They don’t try to upsell you or push overpriced repairs that you don’t need. I cannot recommend a place more. They will give you 100% honesty and help you make an informed decision. They helped save me a lot of money on repairs other shops were pushing on me that I didn’t need. They were extremely transparent and even fixed my broken key fob.
I’m leaving this review not because of the work this shop did, but because of the integrity of the business owner. To be transparent, I didn’t end up getting any work done here—and that’s exactly why I’m writing this. When I spoke with Lee about my car, I told him that if fixing it required more than just a transmission, it wouldn’t be worth the cost to me. The BEST transmission shop in Columbia. Rick the owner and Lee his office manager are the most truthful, honest and no Bull people you will ever deal with. There time frame for my repair was exactly what they said as well as the quote. I could only pay for it on my C.C. and they waived the transaction fee on that because I was tight to my limit. Everyone in Columbia don't waste your time anywhere else. Go to Colimbia Transmission ONLY. Thank you very much to Rick and Lee. God bless you.
Lee was very friendly. He had me bring my truck back in to do a once over on it before we headed back home. Definitely recommend this place.
