Folks here are not too shabby; one of the younger fellas in particular was very helpful and jovial. Rental cost is also not that prohibitive, specially when one considers the touristy location. They have canoes, paddle boards and hydro-bikes. We may come again.
I decided to rent a canoe and kayak for the kids and I and we truly had a blast. Despite it being our first time we were welcomed and guided on what to do. We will be coming back again.
This is one of my favourite things to do. Without being able to swim, mobility challenges in between hip replacements, etc, I feel so safe and able-bodied on these hydrobikes, and I can't even ride a bike! Max and Erik are amazing at helping you feel safe without any skills or experience and getting on and off. An absolutely fantastic time kayaking with our guide, Byron, through the wetlands! The whole team were so friendly and helpful with getting us set up, and ensured safety was the first thing before we got the kayaks. We had some windy conditions that Byron expertly guided and navigated us through so that we paddled the choppy waves with no problem (it was so fun to ride the waves!).
