Literal extortion here, they lock the gates before your ticket expires so they can charge a gate unlock fee. Should be illegal
While sitting in the ER googled to check the lot was 24 hours. Being discharged at8:30pm and got the lovely surprise that it was not open 24 hours and the gate was locked. On top of expensive parking I then had to pay $55 cash to have security come and get me out.
