If you want optimal health care, Avoid this place. We have been waiting for over a week now for a referral to for a diagnostic procedure. This is after calling and leaving multiple messages and speaking with staff. If you are acutely ill, please go to Providence St Mary’s ER. Trust me, the wait is worth it! They are fully equipped with diagnostics. They offer them daily and around the clock. Not just on Wednesdays. And they are good You could die waiting on Columbia County Health System.
I always struggle to get ahold of anyone from either Dayton/Waitsburg Clinic and the general hospital... Also the clinic's automated speech should allow you to leave a voicemail instead of saying "if you know the 4 digit extension, please enter it in" three times and then hanging up. Why would we know the extensions? We don't just have a cheat sheet in front of us. It's just frustrating. I have always felt genuinely cared for when I’ve visited the clinic. Wonderful staff from the front desk to the nurses and doctors. A huge asset to have convenient care options in a rural community.
