IF I had to put my parents or loved ones into assisted living or memory care, this would be the place. Our church visits many assisted living, memory care and nursing facilities. Each resident that I have seen is greeted by name by the staff. I have personally witness a staff member remind the residents of their rights and do everything to exercise these rights. I gave 3 stars pertaining to the unprofessional management they have. My daughter worked there for awhile, she loved her job and the residents. Don't get me wrong, overall the cottage is beautiful inside and out. I think if they had a better scheduler my daughter would have stayed. Wishing she could be rehired. But, they gave her a abandonment discharge. I would like a thought on my review, tk u .

We had our parents in several facilities that were anything but good. Truly thankful we found Columbia Cottages. Karen and the staff there were absolutely wonderful. We no longer had to worry about their well being. Karen runs a tight ship and if there is a day they are short staffed, management steps up and helps. The food was delicious. I ate there a couple of times. The facility is clean and well maintained.I would highly recommend this facility.

My mother has been a resident of Columbia Cottage for the past 6 months. She started out in the memory care unit. All of the caregivers were so kind. My mother was kept with the group which limited her fall risk. Appropriate activities were provided to her. After a massive stroke in February, my mother was moved out of memory care as she required a higher level of care, which she received. I have a friend in the dementia unit that Tracey is in charge of. It's beautiful, the caregiver are amazing, loving, caring and it really matters to the caregiver how the residents look everyday. Thanks Tracey to putting your heart into it. The unit is perfect, much better than Harmony. This is my opinion from experiencing both places.The variety of lunch menu is outstanding.
