Great Neighborhood pub – This is an all around great neighborhood pub. Miguel and Connie are the sweetest, they have great food and beer selection and awesome happy hour deals. What more could ya want? Definitely worth checking out!!

Just Right! – We LOVE the Columbia City Alehouse - we've yet to have a bad experience here. Great selection of beers for a range of tastes (always an interesting porter for me), and rich satisfying food that is better and far more interesting and flavorful than the typically tired run of pub grub, with some nice specials. (We just came back from splitting the best, most juicy lamb & brie sandwich, and their hoppin' john was great and spicy.) Nice atmosphere, good bunch of folks from the greatest neighborhood in the city, int... read more

A neighborhood pub with a touch of class and terrific food. – The Scene Those who have visited Jeff Reich and Jeff Eagan's other pubs, the Hilltop Ale House and the 74th Street Ale House, will know exactly what to expect: a clean, welcoming and popular spot filled with neighbors. Framed pictures of English pubs adorn the walls, while local sports games air on the TVs. Servers clearly enjoy their jobs and will guide you through the menu and the beer list. The Draw Superb food, cozy ambience and an extensive list of local, sea... read more

drowning in spice – Food here is way too spicy and complicated. Beer's great. Atmosphere's great. Service is fine. Just tone down the spices and gets some plain, regular, burgers and fries.

Great beer joint in Columbia City – This is one of the few places to go and get a microbrew in South Seattle without choking on smoke. The service is friendly and the beer is always interesting and varied. The only drawback is the food. The menu is small and difficult. The food is really overdone. It's way too complicated for pub food. It's often way, way too spicy.

Great Food, Great People! – We moved to the Columbia City area over a year ago, and Columbia City Ale house became an immediate favorite. We can't resist the fish tacos (although they can be a little too spicy on occasion), or the goat cheese salad. YUM. Highly recommend going there for a fun and relaxing evening. Friendly waitstaff and customers make you want to go back again and again!

Great food, relaxed atmoshphere – This is a great neighborhood pub with excellent food (tuna sandwich, fish tacos!) and friendly service. It has a very comfortable atmosphere and is just a great place to grab some healthy food with a good selection of beer.

great neighborhood pub – this is one of my foavorite casual dinners - great food, sweet staff and low-key vibe. Try the Tuna sandwich!

Love it love it love it – Columbia City Alehouse reminds me of neighborhood places in eastern cities. Nothing fancy, just yummy healthy food, a sports game to watch, great tunes on the stereo, and great service. A place where you can meet your neighbor and hang out on a weeknight. Seattle has too few of these places. So many restaurants are too busy trying to be California-cuisine-cool or something. Just give me great food and decent prices in a friendly atmosphere.
