We had Columbia Chimney come out to look at our fireplace to diagnose a leak problem and to replace cracked interior paneling of a manufactured fireplace unit. There was a flat \$195 fee. The owner of Columbia Chimney looked at the roof and did diagnose the problem correctly, which was a leaking chase cover. He said that he would email us a price to fix the problems. I had hired Columbia Chimney Sweeps to clean my chimney. Upon inspection, Rob told me that my chimney didnt need cleaning but the crown needed to be replaced. When I checked it myself, I could see that the old crown was in bad shape. He did the work at a fair price. He also suggested a chimney cap to prevent long-term water damage to the liner, which I also agreed to.
