I had never used them before, but I'm impressed enough to write this review. My car developed a serioius oil leak. They diagnosed it quickly and fixed it cheaply and quickly. They were dealing with my wife and could have taken advantage of that situation, but they were honest and straightforward. I highly recommend them.

On 1/26/2021 I took my car in for an oil change and to have my windshield wiper fluid dispensers replaced on the hood of the car. I was told I had a bad oil pressure switch so I told them they could replace it. My total was almost $500. On 4/27/2021 the engine light came on in my car and my car started knocking under the hood. Columbia Auto had no appointments available so I took it into an auto repair shop I noticed by my house. My car had no oil in it at all, my oil pressure switch had broke. When they took it off, it was ... read more

I had bad electrical issues with my vehicle . I had it 2 other shops that charged me over 100 each to tell me they would need over 1000$ just to start. A friend told me about this place that they knew about electrical issues. So I decided to pay for another tow to try it. I was honestly ready to just buy another car and one or two hundred was worth trying once more vs buying a new car. They are a very busy place I noticed so when they told me it may be a few days before my car was seen I was ok with it. The next day after ha... read more

I had a Groupon for emissions and inspection , so I called and scheduled the appointment. They said they were booked for the day, but they were able to find a free slot. When I got there, I asked for pricing on balance and rotation, expecting to bring it in another day since they were super busy, but they offered to go ahead and get it done. They almost charged for the Groupon stuff, but when I reminded them, they apologized sincerely and took it off with no hassle at all. Great experience and highly likely I'll be back when... read more

HORRIBLE customer service. **** the manager, is incredibly rude. My husband and I paid them for new tires and a safety/emissions test just a week ago. He called back because he was having some problems with his car that weren't apparent before we took the car in. (I still think that the auto shop's negligence was the cause of the problems, but they adamantly denied it of course and there's no way to prove it). Jim got so frustrated with my husband that he called him a "******* idiot" and hung up on him. I cannot believe this... read more

Never again Columbia Auto repair at the Hills in ST Louis : emission test does not appear in the system so paying the plate renewal is impossible, zero assistance on that; AAA 10% discount cannot be applied for what you need it the most (tires!!) and last but not least the staff is not friendly. You take an appointment and show up in time, they let you wait almost 2 hours. Never again!!!
