Had a replacement ice maker installed in my fridge Aug 09 By Columbia Appliance and Service Co. It didnt seem to work properly. It was making too much ice and pouring it all over the freezer. I called to report it. They sent another technician who told me just to turn it off when it got full. Finally sent someone out who said they replaced it (I didnt witness it). charged me \$15 extra for having to drive 20 minutes. He did repair it as it was a minor issue. cost \$75 for 15 minutes work. replaced a hose with a small hole in it that was causing washer not to drain. Not great but I would use them again in a pinch

Used Columbia Appliance & Service for a warranty repair on my Maytag dryer. They came to my home exactly when they said they would. The technician diagnosed the problem immediately. It would need an unusual part, (the drum), that would have to be ordered. The part came in when they told me and the technician returned to my home at the exact time they said. My dryer was fixed in a matter of minutes. Very pleased. CAS provided excellent customer service in an industry not known for it. Great job!
