the best vet yet! My maltese was very sick and bleeding when i took her in to colton animal hospital. I was so distraught, scared and worried, but dr. kim not only reassured me that my dog would be fine, he was so kind and sensitive to my situation. It was not like I was just another number. I am so thankful to him because he even quoted us a reasonable price being that I did not have animal insurance.

My experience is quite different. He saved my puppies life. My dog had contracted mange and parvo at the same time. I went to another vet that gave him very little care. As a matter of fact the mange got so bad that he lost most of his hair on his face and legs after he was treated. This doctor came to my rescue and cured him. Colton Animal Hospital did a great job. After hours, and he didnt even charge me for the medicine. He also gave me a bag of dog food that would help my dog get better. Didnt charge me for that either. ... read more

I found my veterinarian! I'm new to the area and visited a couple hospitals before I visited Colton Animal hospital. World of a difference!! The service and care was awesome! Rates were really low, which is huge given how expensive Hazel's medical bills are. More importantly I know Hazel is in good hands. I felt very comfortable because he explained my dog's spinal condition thoroughly and even called me after hours to reassure me that everything was going to be fine. Going that extra mile meant the world to me.

Sorry... Holly I am sorry for the loss of Bella. Shame on that veterinary office for not keeping you completely informed. Hopefully this will prevent someone else from losing their puppy. From my veterinary experience pups need AT LEAST 3 sets of vaccines, better with 4 @ 7 weeks, 10 weeks, 13 weeks, and ideally, 16 weeks. Obviously shots every 3 weeks until the puppy is 16 weeks or 4 months old. At 4 months puppies should have their rabies shot as well. For extra precaution to avoid scary illnesses like parvo, keep new pupp... read more

Our puppy died too early!!! My dog Bella was 11 months old when she was diagnosed with Parvo by Banfield Animal Hospital. She was the love of our lives. The vet who diagnosed her of Parvo informed us that our puppy should have had 16 weeks worth of vaccinations. Colton Animal Hospital scheduled us for only 12 out of 16 weeks of vaccinations. The result of our puppy's health was tragically obvious. She was a beautiful purebred black labrador retriever. She was very well trained and she loved to play 24hrs. a day. We miss her ... read more
