I've had several visits with Dr. Luedke about my shoulder issues. He went thoroughly went through the Xrays and MRI and laid out the options. He really pushed me to try not to do surgery even when I was pushing to do something since I hurt so long. Dr. Luedke was exactly right and so glad I went to see him. NO MORE PAIN and no surgery either!Highly highly recommend!
I went to the ER with a leg fracture. He looked at the scan but not me. His orders were incorrect. So incorrect that the attending wouldn’t proceed until he got clarification. If we went with his plan I would be in terrible shape. I went to the ER on Monday and by Friday he still hadn’t seen me. I know that sounds crazy but it is true. My attending was appalled. Dr. Luedke did a total knee replacement on my right leg in 2019 and on my left leg 10 days ago. He is an outstanding surgeon and his work ethic is the best. He’s on time, he communicates clearly, he listens to my concerns and offers treatment plans that he knows fit my needs and he cares about me not just as a patient but as a person. Both of my surgeries went very well with no complications and I’ll be seeing him and his assistant in about 4 hours to have my staples removed. He saw and listened to me when no other Ortho would because of my age and weight. After just xrays he showed me why I hurt so bad and was shocked nobody else would help. We did an MRI and found major damage to my knee. After talking I decided to have a total knee replacement. He explained every option I had in great detail and told me the ups and downs.
