My mom was here for almost 4 years. The caregivers were amazing. They treated her with kindness and respect. I was so thankful that she could stay there even as her Alzheimer's progressed until she died. I appreciated the other women who lived there and liked that it was an all women's home. This place was such an answer to our prayers to give my mom a loving place that could care for her with such dignity and love.
My mother spent 6 years in this wonderful facility before her death in December 2011 at the age of 93. After learning about Colten Adult Care we had decided to move my mother from the 3rd facility we had had her in in New York State where she was not always clean and would be found on the floor! My father in law was living there as he aged and was unable to take care of himself any longer. He loved the food and said people were good to him. If we needed anything, Peter was always there to help us. It was a warm and caring environment for him.
I have had my relative taken care at Colten Adult Care since 2006. They have the most caring and supportive staff, both for the residents and their relatives.
