I visited this shop a couple of weeks ago, and I was in yarn heaven! I live rural, so the closest thing I have to get yarn in store is Hobby Lobby, but their selection is actually quite small and certainly not high quality. Call me a yarn snob, but Colorful Yarns is now my go-to, even if it is a 2hr drive. The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming. The ladies there were wonderful and offered to pull stock from the back of colors I had multiple of for larger projects, and they had a huge selection of yarn! I mean I have never see... read more
I visited for the first time last week, and was completely blown away! I'm relatively new to knitting, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. They helped me choose a budget-friendly yarn for a starter project, but it still took awhile for me to pick out a color because their selection is so extensive. Looking into the store is like staring at a rainbow!
