I have been treated for the past 5 years for pain after an injury at work -which lead to 5 back surgeries. I have scar tissue that is attached to and surrounding my spinal nerve and is inoperable. I have chronic pain in my back and down both legs. I disliked my primary workers comp doctor. I felt like I was begging for drugs - nothing is worse than that! This place is not patient centered at all. Was given a survery to fill out with my 1st visit on my thoughts about my visit. Never given the survery again wish I would have been given the survery again. Was never asked about my pain level except on a paper which was never gone over by the Phys. Assistant. I would be asked to fill this pain assessment for every visit, but it was never talked about why my pain level was so high and what we could do to control it.
