I received a sketchy text message from a debt collector that I owed a balance from this office. I called the office number from this Google listing and connected with the billing department. Ann was helpful but couldn’t really help my situation. Apparently I am being billed for $24 for a visit from December 30, 2022…. Sent me to collections on a bill they never sent me. I paid the hospital in full and paid my insurance deductible for the year already. The hospital was in network and I get full coverage after the deductible is paid, but this corrupt company did not brother to bill my insurance or send me a bill, just sent me straight to collections when I had no way to know about the bill. I suspect they billed my insurance and me personally both and are doing double billing fraud.
After being treated at a hospital I received a bill from the hospital which I took care of immediately, however many months later I received a bill from a debt connector for an unpaid amount for radiology - I contacted Radiology Imaging associates and they had my address on file incorrect. I had never received a bill, or contacted by email or phone regarding the bill until the debt collector texted me. The scan and treatment was all done at the hospital so I would have no way to know I owe money to this company.
$300 just to read two sonogram images, and less than 30 days to pay no itemized bill, no answers. Their billing department is a mess, and it’s clear the focus here isn’t patient care, it’s profit. Classic for-profit healthcare — cold, confusing, and cash-driven. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone who values honesty or basic respect.
Horrible business practices. AVOID at ALL cost. Nothing but a headache for good people getting sent to collections when they don’t even receive a bill!!!!
