I searched for a distinguished well seasoned rheumatologist since my rheum is retiring, I selected Dr Perkins with high hopes but if you're not textbook, maybe keep looking. It's a pricey first visit where he checked pupils, throat, lower reflexes and read my old labs, he basically said there is no cure and no proven treatment for what I did test positive for and for the other issues, labs aren't high enough to treat or warrant further exploration. The Colorado Center for Arthritis and Osteoporosis is the only place I will go for treatment of my Osteoporosis. Dr. Perkins is extremely knowledgeable. He explained my diagnosis and course of treatment in a way that was understandable to me. The staff is great as well and their patience and kindness much appreciated.
I feel very blessed to have found Dr. Jeffrey Perkins and the rest of my care team. Dr. Perkin's is a true expert in his field, and I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs his level of care.
