The appointment scheduler was not personable at all! She was terse and even yawned loudly during our conversation. I’m sure the doctors would want to know how potential patients are greeted!
The referring Dr. said she called and spoke with Dr. Elliott himself to confirm they received the referral yet every single time I called, CBSI swore up and down that they never got the referral, never heard of the referring Dr. and that Dr. Elliott and the referring Dr. had no reason to work together. The medical assistant Jess was very rude and unprofessional, hanging up on me multiple times. They are never at this location. This place is terrible! Scheduled an appointment for 1:30 they ask you to be there 15 minutes early for paperwork.. ok!! At 2pm asked what’s going on... and the response was we still have 2 patients in front of you.. we are running 45 minutes to one hour behind!! No communication when we checked in .. referred here by a friend that works with CBSI .. find someone else! You wait 2-3 weeks for an appointment and this is what happens.. go elsewhere as you will be better served!
Just called to set up an appoint with Dr. Elliott (who was referred to me by my PCP) and the receptionist was REALLY rude and kurt. They said that Dr. Elliott required an MRI before being seen - which is fine, but the WAY it was communicated was terrible and almost mean. I have worked as a receptionist for a Breast Cancer Surgeon and at Duke Hospital, I am amazed these Doctors are allowing this. Very disappointed!
I was super happy with my first visit. The front desk staff were outstanding, very friendly and casual, while still professional and prompt on the paperwork and giving me a reminder call. Vitals were taken by one staff member, another came in to do a brief exam, then Dr. Elliot came in and had done his homework, already knew my file and films.
