The card reader appeared to not work at the station I used. (Maybe I was doing it wrong.) I used quarters as a back up instead. The stations accept dollar coins. The bill changers appear to accept $1 $5 $10 and $20 dollar bills and dispense quarters.
I'm embarrassed to even admit that I'm here - but $6 later and my vehicle is dirtier than when I arrived. I pulled up and there were people fixing some vacuums - good sign, I thought. So I put in $1 to a vacuum that wasn't being attended to - and it started right up with a motor that sounded like it belonged in something closer in size to a nose hair clippers. I did not enjoy this car wash, overcrowded and tiny but I did get my car washed so it wasn’t all bad.
Really like the efficiency of this self car wash, and the good rates! Excellent customer service, too! Way beyond the norm!
This place put to shame the car washes I am used to in NYC. They did everything well, and very thorough. I brought in my daughter's car which has had two kids in car seats in the back row and I am not sure how long it has been since it was last cleaned. They tore it apart, getting every crumb from under the seats, in the trunk and wiped and dusted every inch of the car. They were great.
