I’m a military veteran who was referred by the VA to receive allergy shots at this clinic. During one of my scheduled visits, the office manager, Victor, informed me that I could not receive my shot that day. He claimed, “Unfortunately, the protocol from the VA is to have a provider with VA credentials present for both office visits and allergy shots when the primary doctor is not available.” Based on this claim, I was denied service.
