Wow, what a great find this was! The Googie styling is well executed. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
I had a really lovely, relaxing experience at The Colony House Motor Lodge. The room was imaculate when I arrived and each evening when I returned. The service was prompt and they happily made accommodations. It has recently been renovated beautifully in a mid-mod style but with modern bathroom upgrades and key card access, plus an extra wooden slatted door to allow the lovely Virginia air in. This motel has been completely redone in a very cool MCM vide! The rooms are really fun and comfortable and the staff is great! It's a very good value! Easy access to restaurants and museums downtown. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Roanoke!
One of the best stays we had during the whole vacation. Great clean and very big room with an exceptional bathroom. Very kind staff. The whole area is clean and safe. A dream. Highly recommended!!
