I have lived at the Colony Apartments since 1999. I have always felt safe here and never had a problem with the former management. Since Capital Management has taken over, things are even better. The office staff are great, especially Samantha, and the maintenance staff are very knowledgeable and polite. I have seen many positive improvements: improved plumbing, security cameras, great housekeeping, and the management is gradually upgrading the apartments. I’ve been here for almost 3 yrs. I’m pleased with the Colony Community. .Sam, (Samantha) the Office Manager is AWESOME and she’s doing an amazing job. Any issues I had… she was on them IMMEDIATELY. As well as the other Office Personnel… Iyanna is very pleasant and handles issues promptly as well. And maintenance are there and completes whatever task are given to them in a timely fashion. I would recommend making the Colony Apartments your home. I gave four stars because there’s always room for improvement. 💜
So far my experiences living here have been pretty good. I've found the new management staff to be friendly and helpful. Sound isolation between apartments is pretty good (for those of us who like to watch movies in surround sound). Not bad for a first apartment.
Recently had an issue with the ceiling in my bathroom, and one of the maintenance crew Jason showed up in a matter of just a few minutes and assessed the problem, and made sure to let me know exactly what the next few steps were going to be, what to expect, how long the process may take and to top it off, he made the effort to work around my schedule as well. When we moved in 3 years ago from Texas we were very disappointed. Now that Sam and her crew took over there is alot going on with renovations. The place is starting to look nice again.
