Dr. Stark remained at Colonial Terrace for 38 years, until his death in 2010. Throughout that time, many changes and updates occurred as the practice grew. A building was added in 1988 to allow separate and additional space for boarding of animals. I was a client of colonial terrace in Dubuque since 1998 , but not any more. In April of 2020 they sent me a letter saying that "since you have expressed dissatisfaction with our service on numerous occasions we will no longer retain you". That month I brought my little parakeet Peter in because he was picking himself and bleeding , they made a cone for him but when I went home it fell off , I called them back and said I wanted them to fix it , they did but less than week later when I called to let them know the antibiotics ... read more
I am not pleased with the care and attention my dogs received during their 4 night stay at Colonial Terrace Animal Hospital. Both of my dogs are completely up to date on vaccinations as well as preventatives, but since they had never been to this facility - the vet required exams (with exam fees) to establish care. I was told this over the phone while booking the stay. We are so happy to have found Colonial Terrace. We moved for Portland,Or to Platteville, WI and needed to locate a new vet. The first one we went to in Platteville was such a disappointment. They had no compassion or empathy. So when we found Colonial while driving around we stopped by and talked with Denise. She took the time to tell us about the facility and about each of the doctors.
