I brought my 2018 Forester in for a thumping noise and grabbing sensation when making a turn. They told me axles and bushings needed replacement. $2,700. Ok. Sent me a photo, showed light rust, didn't seem unusual. But I trusted them and told them to proceed. Got the car back. Still happening! Brought it back. Then they told me I needed a coupling replaced near the transmission. Another $2,000. Clearly the tech made a mistake in diagnosing the problem the first time, at my expense.
