With Colonial the customer comes first. I had missed the change in schedule and had a bunch of Christmas trash. I called and asked if there was any chance that the truck could come back . It came back 2 hours later and picked up the trash

Exceptional people and service. 24 years and every week every month every year superb. As a contractor I appreciate above and beyond. I have missed more than my fair share getting the container to the curb and every single time the office made arrangements to have it picked up the subsequent day. In this day and age it is greatly appreciated to have excellence at work.

I was with them for a while, not sure why I stayed. I can't remember how many times I had to go out and pickup garbage in my driveway or on the road they dropped from the truck, and didn't pickup. They would take things out of my garbage and put them in my yard or half in the road. When I called about it they said they can't take metal. They were tent stakes from a toy tent that I was able to bend in half with my hands,. They said it could damage the truck. I was a Colonial customer for 15yrs and just canceled. I'd been close to canceling a number of times previously for a variety of reasons, but their service has gone way downhill recently. Their driver would pick through my trash bin on an almost weekly basis and deposit anything he found questionable onto my front lawn. It was all legitimate garbage in my mind, but he thought otherwise apparently.
