Room clean but old. Eg Tiles missing around toilet A older type shower curtain. The room big and roomy On arrival had to ask staff for air freshener as had old or stale smell? After leaving windows open all night and using air fresheners the Oder went. My main issue is I booked in on Saturday On Sunday no room service. ( no clean towels garbage bin clean floors not cleaned ect. ). Monday. When I came back about 5 pm. Still no room service. Spent the night. Family room. Also has disability accessories like rails around toilet wall and in shower for those who need them as well provided shower seat/chair. Which is a lovely consideration for those who need them. If we visit scone again I would stay here again if available.
Had a quick overnight stop in Scone before continuing north. Called and booked late and reception desk were very accommodating. They even have a Thai restaurant attached, * didn't get to try as I had an early start but seems a lot of locals use it. Just a four star, and this is just me, room was very good for a regional motel: no bugs - bonus, decent sized TV - bonus, bar fridge - OK. Was a combined freezer fridge ie freezer is what keeps the fridge cold. But the freezer doesn't actual freeze even in the coldest. This is jus... read more
