I'm writing this review as a family member advocating for my loved one who is currently a resident here. While I recognize new management is in place and change takes time, the issues I'm observing require urgent attention. Staffing Crisis - Many individual staff members seem willing to help, but there's no cohesive support structure. I've witnessed staff fail to support each other, creating dangerous gaps in care. "Since my dad has been here for nearly three years, they have made great progress and put in a lot of effort. The new management remodeled most of the space, purchased new furnishings, and hired a large number of new professionals. I visit the center three to four times a week as an active volunteer and have witnessed the wonderful changes. My dad adores the activities and the meals. that are provided."

PLEASE don’t ever let your loved ones go here. current resident Hope says · Here at Aviata at Colonial Lakes apparently it's ok to not give medication to patients. I have missed so many doses of medication since I have been here. This last year has been the worst. It is also ok for them to give your medication to other patients when they run out. Smh...tisk tisk .... Well. This adult diaper has been on the floor in my bathroom 4 days now. I've told c n a's and I have housekeeping that comes in every day. SO WHY??? I am posti... read more

So grateful for the wonderful changes at Aviata at Colonial Lakes! My father-in-law lives at Aviata at Colonial Lakes, and I’ve noticed such a big difference since the new administration and staff took over. The place feels completely transformed — it’s clean, it smells fresh, and there’s a warmth in the atmosphere that wasn’t there before.
