Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food and awesome care.
My father in law moved into this community a few months ago from a different assisted living. The difference has been noticeable since the first day. His neighbors are kind and helpful. We met most of them on the day we moved him in, and he is now a member of the “mens group,” and they watch all of the sports games together. I’ve never seen him so involved socially. My father and I volunteer weekly at Colonial Court Assisted Living and Memory Care, where we spend time playing cards with the residents. It’s truly something we both look forward to every week. The excitement on the residents’ faces when we arrive and the joy shared during our conversations and games is incredibly meaningful. Colonial Court is a great place to have your family come! It is a quaint community with a great courtyard outback for Residents and pets to enjoy. Everyone is caring and seem like family. The tiramisu is delicious! And I love that they do big family events for everyone to enjoy, like "Friendsgiving" with prime rib (kudos to chef). The owners are local and have a great mindset far from a corporate mentality. I like that the departments help each other and all the leaders are involved instead of hidden behind closed doors.
My mother lived at Colonial Court for about a year, and during that time we watched her needs change as she grew older and required more care. Through every stage, the staff was consistently present, attentive, and genuinely caring.
