I used to love these cabins, they are clean, quiet and in a good location. The company that runs them is awful with communication. If you need something, emergency or not, they’ll completely ignore you and never respond. It’s a huge risk if you can’t get into your cabin or have some trouble with the cabin itself, you’re SOL.
My wife and I just got back from a trip to Avenwood Cabins. I cannot recommend them enough. The cabin was clean and stocked up. Plenty of privacy. I think my only issue is when we arrived it was not easy to find. I would suggest a couple signs on the road to point you to keep going down the road. But other than that it was great and we will be going back.
I stayed here for two nights, and I thought the cabin was really pretty. The only thing is one of the employees was smoking in one of the rooms connected to the cabin and it came through the vents and smelled up my bedroom in the morning.
My husband and I had the pleasure of Staying at the Whippoorwill for our honeymoon. It was absolutely amazing! Secluded, quiet, clean, and BEAUTIFUL! I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews about this cabin, but there is literally nothing wrong with it. The hot tub is a little older but it was very clean and not slimy at all! Was amazing to soak after hiking 8 miles in Hocking Hills State park. Super cute fire pit out back with stairs for easy access. We stayed 2 nights and I’m sad to go home! Absolutely beautiful! Not to far off the beaten path, cabins are all very new, very clean, well maintained, and really couldn't get any better! The service is impeccable!Want roses for an anniversary, they will be there. Want some firewood for the fireplace, just ask! They go above and beyond on every mark! All cabins have a private jacuzzi on the back porch with great forest views plus they all contain fireplaces, direct tv, and wifi!!
