The only reason I can't give a 5 is: Fairfield Office is cramped, and wait times can be long even with an appointment. On balance, Dr. Matta is a competent and thorough physician. Also, I had an appointment scheduled a year ago, that mysteriously disappeared for a routine follow up, which I had to reschedule. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Dr Matta, honestly, is a god send. I previously went to another gastro doctor and let them know I was bleeding, they didn't even look inside me to verify if I was, prescribed me some cream and sent me on my way. The cream intensified the bleeding (scarily so) and then I reached out to Dr. Matta's office and from the first phone call I was instantly reassured. Rebecca did over and above helping me get hospital bill straightened out. Her knowledge and professional was exceptional.
I have had more than one procedure done with Dr.Matta and his team.I must say they go over and beyond taking care of their patients!
