Dr. Harlan is very courteous and professional. His staff needs to be a little more efficient, but he has excellent bedside manners and he is very thorough. I would recommend him.
Genuinely nice doctors. NYU ER misdiagnosed me and failed to perform routine tests. Was referred here. Then the misdiagnosis continued. Just gave a 1 star because of misdiagnosis, and failure to culture bacteria in prostate after 4-5 visits to address prostatitis. This led to severe consequences, tremendous pain, and job loss. Urology diagnosed bacterial prostatitis, without doing a culture, and just issued me one antibiotic for 3 weeks. I had an appointment with Dr. Harlin that went well; however, the office scheduled me for surgery even though I never discussed surgery with Dr. Harlin nor did anyone call me to ask about surgery. I only found out they scheduled me for surgery when the surgery center called me the day before I was scheduled. I had to call the office myself to cancel the surgery I didn’t know about or schedule.
