We were attending a wedding at the resort next door. Could not have been more convenient and it placed us off the path of all the set up activity. What a glorious place to visit. We stayed in Cabin 2. All of our other friends were able to sit on our patio which was directly on the River. Truly a slice of heaven on earth.
Sherry and Danika and the rest of their staff are the best ever!! They are extremely accommodating and helpful. The property is relaxing and I feel at home there. We stayed at #1 Waterfall Cottage, it was clean and updated and the porch overlooking the river is incredible. Could have spent the whole weekend on the porch :) We launched our raft directly from the cottages for a fun float day and also loved walking to Argonaut in the mornings for yummy breakfast. Beautiful location and quaint, romantic cottage getaway! We love it honestly because it’s close enough to home if we had to get re-absorbed into life, yet far enough away in a setting that allows us to focus on us and remind ourselves what’s important in life! Staff and accommodations are second to none!
Wow, such a cute and historic little cottage , and fun to think about it being a snack shack back in the day! We enjoyed all of the grounds, horseshoes and various river access spots! Bonus: little family of deer in the mornings!
We had an absolutely wonderful weekend getaway at Coloma Cottages! We stayed in the charming Rio Azul cottage and it was perfect for the whole family. Our youngest was over the moon with the bunk bedroom (especially the Pac-Man game!), while our oldest loved having a fold-out bed right next to the air conditioner. We really enjoyed the peaceful garden views from both the kitchen and bedroom—it made mornings feel extra special.
