More than competent doctor with a caring informed staff. Dr. Collins takes time to listen to me which is unheard of among many other doctors. I have only good things to say about this medical practice.
5 yr. I went to him begging for help. Severe swelling in ankles, legs, hands; constant exhaustion; unexplainable joint pains; rash on chest wouldn't go away. Rather than listening to me, ever, he would make rude comments like "sometimes women come in saying they're swollen who've just gained weight". After dropping him I was terrified to see another doctor, so after 2 more years I finally got a new doctor. I have Lupus. Why wouldn't he just listen & think & then test my ANA & RNP antibodies?

Dr Collins presented a good bedside manner during appt, however it is extremely vital to those that have no insurance, as well as those who have insurance that doesn't amount to much, which would be our case, to pay heed to the following: Dr Collins ofc does NOT do simple throat swabs to check for strep throat. Instead he sends patients to Starr Regional where they must go through ER to get swab. What would have cost me $200- cost me $108 for Collins plus $470 after insurance for hospital!!
