We were told the builder, DR Horton, would FIX our culvert and they have not! We were told they were going to either extend the concrete pipes on both sides by 3 1/2 ft or build a retaining wall with dog ears - they lied again! What they’ve done is bandaid it until rain falls 7 times and it has become an issue again. There’s a pool of water under the culvert pipe, sod lifted, water stagnation and massive huge frogs living in it! Do not believe them - North Raleigh division head, Pat, is a bald face liar! We were lied to about repairs being done and that the home was not built on a wetland. Stay away from DR Horton they do not care about the buyers or their families. Pat in their corporate office sat at my table and gave him his word things were going to fixed properly and we have lived there for six months and still have the issues, even after a seven half hearted attempts to repair. Most of the homes should not have built there, the water table is high and the soil is garbage. I have spent lots of time and money just to fix... read more

My goddaughter's daughter purchased a home here. She and her family relocated here from New York City to be closer to her mother. The home is very nice, spacious and just right for her growing family of two small children and a fur baby.
