When Steven Jacobson worked for the Public Defender's office he lived right up to the name "Public Pretender". On our court date he was chatting with the District Attorney who was trying to send me to prison about corn in his diet instead of about getting my case dismissed or a good plea bargain. I came to watch one of his cases and he pretty much bragged that he lost the case and the guy went to prison forever. A real lawyer could've gotten my case dismissed or completely deferred, but Jacobson stated he had a problem ethic... read more
