The staff is VERY knowledgable. I am nowhere close to being a handyman and with everyday projects and repairs at my house, I've received excellent advice many times from the staff — not just on products sold here but with how-to guidance as well. Ask an employee here for advice and they don't immediately look at a phone app, like many at the big-box chain stores. Collins has a nice selection and good prices on products as well.
