An extensive and impressive collection of historic tanks, cars, and planes. Several rare pieces including some that are the only examples in the US, including the only Ho-Ro in the world! We went on a event day and I paid $200ish? to ride in the M36, which was worth it. The on-site lunch options were a bit lacking in variety but delicious. Tickets were 100% worth, and we plan to return for several future special events!
Det bästa krigsmuseet jag har besökt och då har jag även varit på Imperial War Museum i London och flera museer i Normandie. Museet har på ett unikt sätt, med hjälp av film, multimedia och mycket välgjorda utställningar, lyckats skildra flera av 1900-talets viktigaste händelser. Samlingarna håller dessutom mycket hög klass, och allt från stridsvagnar till artilleripjäser är i ett imponerande fint skick. Under vissa helger körs även flera av stridsvagnarna ute på fältet, vilket jag tror är helt unikt för ett museum.
This is a great museum! Interactive, informative, and well designed. Kids enjoy the scavenger hunt and prize choices.
Literally hair raising experience for me ! What an amazing place! Awesome presentations. Beautifully restored pieces of history. Definitely worth the drive for me. I will back again to see everything!
