Get Banquet Confirmations in Writing Our school group went to Colletti's for our Christmas dinner, and even though we had called in a final count of 26 at the right time, they said they did not "remember" that count and made us pay for 30. They turned an otherwise nice experience into a banquet hall nightmare, and we will certainly never book them again. IF you are having a banquet, make sure you get everything in writing. Great steaks and more This is popular with the Northwest side residents. I was surprised by how extensive their menu of authentic Italian cuisine is. Excellent steaks and ribs as well. This is a place I would recommend for a special occasion, they are slightly on the upscale side. The servers all work very hard and are attentive, but not so much so that they are stalkers, do you know what I mean. Some places that kind of attentiveness can make you uncomfortable. Excellent Family Style Banquets We have had several family function banquet's at Colletti's and all of them have been great. The steak and the chicken are both equally delicious. The sides are very generous and the servers are top notch.
Look Out! Some of the best value dining anywhere in Chicago. BUT be very careful at the bar, sometimes I like to eat at the bar in a joint like this, some of the bar staff are just interested in talking to the regulars and will ignore someone they dont know for as much as 5 minutes! Great Itallian We had a wonderful lunch at Colletti's on a recent visit to Chicago. It's so nice to have a neighborhood restaurant that has fine dining at reasonable prices. We have been there on many visits and it has always been good.
