Excellent food and staff!! Favorite restaurant in Escondido.
Went with a group of friends for an evening out and did the wine pairing to maximize the experience. The service was great, the wine pairing wines were well selected, but a few of the dishes missed the mark. Struggled between giving a 3 or a 4 rating because of the mixed dish experience but know restaurants live or die by these reviews so erring on rounding up to a 4. Great service, cute environment, the food was just ok. A $75/pp prefix menu, nice variety but the fish dish lacked flavor and the chx dish had very rubbery mushrooms and was also mediocre.
This unassuming little bistro, nestled among the many storefronts along Grand, has all the right ideas. Some people don't care for a prix fixe model for dining. It is a responsible model for those concerned about sustainability and waste. Perfect for a date night or a solo adventure to treat ones self.
An elegant and classy hangout. Beautifully decorated, the restaurant has a relaxed and elevated feel. Service was top notch, menu was exciting but limited. However limited as it may be everything tasted was delicious, well put together and of the highest quality. One item that does not allow me to give 5 stars, the steak Coulotte.
