We visited on a Monday. The big weekend crowds had already left and it was very peaceful in the park
Spot 16. The river access is a very, very short walk (otherside of cabin) and the river is dorectly behind the woodline. Boatramp is directly across the river, which is a 45 second drive. Great for a quiet and super chill spot, even better for kayaking or boats. Close to town for any needs. Very small, but very great for all. We have a 10 boy, 5 boy, and 2 girl. We are attending a travel ball tournament in walterboro and it is perfect for after.
Very well maintained campground/RV park and trails. Clean and air conditioned restrooms with showers, very little noticable nuisance bugs. Waling trail was very clear but a little slick and muddy because it rained.
