This is very important to know, they don't take any kind of vision insurance, if you tell them you can pay for the glasses, watch out, it will cost you dearly, and forget putting it on your medical insurance, they don't take most plans either, the more the better. I've never heard of an eye care company that doesn't work with insurance companies but I have found 3 in Salida and they are very happy to let me know what companies they work with and they don't want money before they bill insurance. My experience with Dr. Scott's practice has been excellent. He has good connections with retina and cataract specialists in both Denver and Colorado Springs, so when I had problems with both he was able to examine me and recommend professionals to address my problems. My vision is better now than it was before, when I was extremely nearsighted, but it's unique in the sense that I have one eye that is near vision and one eye that is far.
