From my first walk through the door as an engineer, I was told the tdci I wanted to buy was useless on short trips due to dpf , I know this. But it's the best Ford engine ever built " 1.4 tdci dpf and quick , it was not the day I bought it. I live a hundred miles away. The front nesrside caliper seized up nearly causing an accident. I arranged to test drive a vehicle and received a reply confirming this and asking me to bring along my documentation. I arrived having travelled 2hrs with a two year old toddler only to be told rudely that the car had been sold 4 days previously. No apology, and it was said it front of a group of customers. The salesman didn’t come and find me after they’d left to apologise for the confusion, and there was nothing on the website to suggest it was sold, the email also didn’t advise me it was pending sale. I had a very disappointing experience at this dealership. My mum and I visited to view an Audi A1, but from the moment we arrived, we felt judged and unwelcome. One of the sales representatives repeatedly questioned why I was interested in such an "expensive" car, making assumptions based on my age rather than asking about my circumstances. Had he done so, he would have learned that I currently drive a 2022 Mercedes.
