I’m extremely disappointed. After the snowstorm on Saturday evening, the parking lot and sidewalks weren’t shoveled on Sunday, making it dangerous to get to the entrance. I tried calling the maintenance number on Sunday to report the issue, but no one picked up or returned my call. This facility used to be safe in previous years, but it seems like they’ve completely neglected basic upkeep now. It's especially concerning for the vulnerable residents. I hope they take safety seriously again.
My mom with dementia was here for a brief time. The top floor (which they say is for people that need more care) is a nightmare. The residents that have serious struggles (cognitive and physical ) are allowed to wander at night, residents are walking around half dressed. The caretakers did not know empathy in any firm of the word. Stay away!

You really need to step it up. My mother was in this facility for a little over 2 years. Initially she was in hospice care and then was discharged. I had a family member stay there for only a very short time because we are really disappointed with the care. When we went for a tour, the place was very nice and had homey feely. Prior to moving in we were told several things that would be done to keep our family member happy and healthy. Because our dad had a very difficult time walking, we were told they would help he get out of bed, into a wheelchair or recliner. But the only time they would do this was when we insisted.
