If I could give this company zero stars, I would. For a company whose motto is “stress-free move,” my experience was anything but stress-free. The movers never showed up for my scheduled move, and I received no phone call or notification explaining the delay. Have used College hunks a few times in the past, but will not use them again. $$$. Made the appointment with young lady over the phone. Got quote and then found out about 6% service charge. Ok. When the guys got here they informed me of an additional $65.00 per 15 minutes. Yes I paid the additional fee. They were here and I had made additional plans that required the stuff to be gone. Too much $$$. Don't like being put in a corner. Sorry guys you have out priced yourselves.

These guys exceeded expectations. They came in under the quote by over $100. Many of there competitors were double. And they came in under half. I was being quoted for $1,200 and I paid $515. I even added a few more pieces of furniture to the mix and there were two stops: to the storage unit and then to the new place. The guys were fast and professional. There was a particular way we wanted items stacked in the storage unit and they were more than happy to do as suggested. They were extremely friendly.

This was an awful experience, from College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving - Clearwater . Following is the blow by blow. On 3/23 I called for 30 boxes and 6 large bookcases to be moved from our apt to garage. I was given an estimate , 2 guys, 2.5 hours at $142 per hour. It was a no show. Though a valid reason, wife went into labor. Rescheduled for next day, again a no show, same reason. I cut them a break and was rescheduled for Friday. Again a no show. I called, irate.
