Extremely unprofessional!!! I had an appointment for 1 pm with a 2hr window - so til 3 pm.... Waited home allllll day without receiving any call nor text nor email - I called the main number every hour from 4 pm until 7 pm! They suggested I wait for a call from the franchise - again i waited & waited - after I callee back yet again they informed me, yet again, that the local franchise was not answering nor calling them back I have now at 7:30 pm cancelled the appointment and am going with a different company!!! 🤬

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. For a company whose motto is “stress-free move,” my experience was anything but stress-free. The movers never showed up for my scheduled move, and I received no phone call or notification explaining the delay. After calling more than ten times and speaking with numerous representatives, I was finally given a supervisor’s phone number. Have used College hunks a few times in the past, but will not use them again. $$$. Made the appointment with young lady over the phone. Got quote and then found out about 6% service charge. Ok. When the guys got here they informed me of an additional $65.00 per 15 minutes. Yes I paid the additional fee. They were here and I had made additional plans that required the stuff to be gone. Too much $$$. Don't like being put in a corner. Sorry guys you have out priced yourselves.

These guys exceeded expectations. They came in under the quote by over $100. Many of there competitors were double. And they came in under half. I was being quoted for $1,200 and I paid $515. I even added a few more pieces of furniture to the mix and there were two stops: to the storage unit and then to the new place. The guys were fast and professional. There was a particular way we wanted items stacked in the storage unit and they were more than happy to do as suggested. They were extremely friendly.
