While living in the Tower for three years, my rent only increased once, by $25. The building is operated by a nonprofit! The current Community Manager and leasing team have made many improvements over the past year or so, and building upgrades are ongoing. I've also made several friends here through community events. There’s a reason this place is priced lower than others nearby. While it’s a convenient location, the elevators frequently broke, trash chutes frequently clogged, and I’d check my amazon account and find rude notes written by student package workers when they signed off on Amazon dropping off my packages. I remember once a nonresident tailed another person into the building and management did not care to ask that person to leave even though they clearly did not live or know someone there. typical day living at goose hollow: wake up and there’s no hot water for the third time this week, later that night the elevator isn’t working so you wait 10 minutes to get down from a higher floor. come home to find someone has put blue masking tape over your peephole…. though the staff has been very kind there are many problems that seem “unfixable” by anyone and these problems have affected my day to day in an unacceptable way!
