After several visits and begging for answers he never sent us to a neurologist he suggested a GI Dr and claimed I had Vertigo or sinus infections making me puke daily and walk funny. It ended up being a brain tumor he’s awful.
Always patient and caring. He’s very easy to talk to and takes his time. He’s also very thorough, sending my mom to see a specialist when others ignored skin anomalies.
I've been a patient of Dr. Turney's for over 10 years and truly value the care he provides. As someone who is proactive about my health, I always come prepared with questions—and I appreciate how intelligently, efficiently, and effectively he addresses them. I trust Dr. Turney and am eager to follow him wherever he practices next – since the Crozer Hospital closing. I also appreciate that he is articulate in his speech (he speaks English very well). TOP NOTCH DOCTOR AND DIAGNOSTICIAN. SPEAKS PLAINLY AND ENLISTS THE PATIENT IN THE GAME PLAN. Dr. Turney does a great job and always takes time to explain his train of thought to this cave man. No matter what the ailment, he has a clear next step to arrive at treatment and resolution. All the while doing so with a calm and caring demeanor. Best doctor in the area, which is why I travel 15 mins to get to him.
Worst experience I’ve ever had with a so called “medical professional”. He quite obviously doesn’t think neurodivergence and/or trauma are real, particularly if you’re a woman. He’ll just tell you how he does more than you in a day, and that obviously you’re a deficient human that should just try harder, and that you don’t need the medication that has been helping you forever. 🙄 If you or anyone you love are looking for a new GP, and struggle in any of these areas, stay far far far away from “Dr” Turney.
